The service
Checkmate provides CRM tools: client records, calls and texts, estimates, invoices, work orders, follow-ups, reports and optional integrations such as Gmail. Features may change as the product improves.
Accounts
- Only people authorized by the customer company may use its workspace. Keep sign-in credentials confidential.
- The customer company is responsible for its users and for the data it puts into Checkmate.
Acceptable use
- Follow applicable law, including call-recording notice, telemarketing, texting (TCPA / A2P 10DLC) and anti-spam (CAN-SPAM) rules.
- Send messages only to people you have a business relationship with or consent from. Checkmate drafts follow-ups for staff approval; you are responsible for what you approve and send.
- Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other companies’ data, or interfere with its operation.
Connected accounts
If you connect Gmail or another third-party account, you authorize Checkmate to access it as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.
Customer data
The customer company owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Fees
Paid plans, if any, are billed as agreed with the customer company. Phone, text and email usage may be billed by the underlying providers.
Disclaimers and liability
Checkmate is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
